The new classic-friendly Budget concessions were finally passed by Parliament last Wednesday 10th April 2013. The annual road license of genuine certified classic vehicles 30 years or older is now free, except for an €8.00 administration fee.

Road licences may now be paid for and collected upon renewal of vehicle insurance.

The FMVA also reminds enthusiasts that no first registration fees are payable for classic vehicles over 50 years old (i.e. 1963 this year and rolling).
